I just want to know HOW THE HELL DO YOU INSTALL ONE?
yes I have read the damn tutorial and yes I got one working once
ok I tried puting the track folder in the races folder and I got into the races txt and typed over
the name of the a track file Example:i replaced "quarry1.txt" to "TopGearThrash.txt" and I ran the game and I got some error... a very specific one that Varies from different tracks Saying"cant open
This track file"or something Iam so friggen confused PLEASE help me

You need to run it again and be more specific about the error message.
Make sure the track was packed correctly to start with. Some folks still can't get the zip hierarchy right.

I don't think it's that. Remember that to get any of the converted c1 tracks to work, you need the c1 noncars thing along with it. Which you can get here , for example.
Huh..didn't notice the date of the original post. I thought it was more recent when I saw db's reply.

Ok I think I made it worse.before this post got a reply I tried to uninstall and reinstall then I put in the noncars thing and unpacked the "data.twt" file Then I put in the track file in the races folder then I got into the races txt and renamed one of the Names in it and now I run the game and it doesnt even bother to load the custom track it just runs its original track
Its like trying to edit a ghost!!!
